Tourism

Tourism is a driving force in our economy in Lake County, Tennessee. We are home to Reelfoot Lake State Park, a popular destination for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts, and the Reelfoot Arts & Crafts Festival, which features authentic craftmanship from over 250 vendors.

Reelfoot Lake State Park

Reelfoot Lake State Park is a 280-acre outdoor paradise for fishers, boaters, and bird-watchers. Reelfoot Lake, which came into existence through a series of earthquakes that significantly altered the area's geography, is located within the park and is highlighted by the majestic cypress trees which line the boardwalks winding through the park. Visitors can also enjoy part of a 25,000-acre wildlife refuge, home to many shorebirds, wading birds, and acquatic plants and flowers.
